With everything that has been going on lately - finding out about her heritage, being gone for so long, and everything else that has been piling up and up ontop of everything, maybe Waverly is a little more distracted than she’d like to admit

The feeling of Nicole’s hand on her chin is what draws her from her thoughts, making her eyes lock onto Nicole’s face as her head is tilted upwards. A small smile curls the corners of her lips upwards - gosh, she’s so beautiful. “Sorry - I guess I’m a little distracted with everything that’s been happening.”

It wasn’t supposed to be like this! Doc was never supposed to sacrifice himself for her! He wasn’t supposed to throw himself into the way of a bullet and hit the ground in front of her! It makes her scream out his name, “Doc! Nooo!!”

Suddenly any thought of her own safety goes ignored. She’s quick to run to his side, it feels like she can’t run fast enough and then when she gets to him she’s dropping to her knees beside him, shaking hands moving to the wound to apply pressure.

Wait a minute.....he’s a vampire, right? This won’t kill him, he just needs blood.

“Doc....” Tears spring into Waverely’s eyes. “Why would you do that?! Come on, stay with me. Take my blood - alright? Please, take my blood. You can’t die on me.”
