hi all! i'm sylvie and i'm really excited to be here and write with you all :^) below the cut is an introduction to my muse, bitna. i have a profile and a little more info on her power on her blog and a tl;dr below. please like this post and i'll hop in your ims to plot!

reads minds! trust me, she doesn't want to either. thought she was a bit crazy growing up but thankfully it's just because she's got this cool supernatural thing going on. tbh she's not fully convinced being a witch is her panacea to why she is the way she is.
virgo personified: meticulous, a perfectionist, extreme overachiever. she used to (still does) comes across as direct, slightly judgmental, and nitpicky. bit of a know-it-all. AKTSHUALLY type of girl non-ironically. she tries really really hard not to be that way but she genuinely can't help it sometimes.
on the flip, is a stage 5 giver. passionate about everything, even that one time when her elementary school bully told her to shine her shoes because her book had scuffed them. you bet it was sparkling! gives because it's in her nature and because she feels as if she has to overcompensate for all of her faults. extremely thoughtful and deliberate when interacting with a person. she thinks everyone deserves her full attention. the only caveat is due to her mind reading thing she's gotten used to looking at peoples' noses.
do not ask her about the time she was staring at an acquaintance's mole so much that when she'd noticed it grown she felt duty-bound to point it out. that did not go over well.
quick background run-down: only child, parents on the older side. nouveau riche and everyone else knew it - especially the kids in her uppity private school. was really lonely growing up and hid within her hobbies (reading and piano). type of kid that got along better with adults, at first because she wanted to be a grown up but soon because she had no real friends her age. is a bit detached from social trends as a result.
was a surgical resident and was about to be engaged to her longtime boyfriend until she found out he was cheating on her during The Incident That Will Not Be Named. kind of sort of had a mental breakdown and found out she was a witch after a kindly nurse threw her a bone. to this day she's not sure if she was willfully ignorant or if he was just that much of a fake bitch.
she's only been at the school a few months. is kind of in awe at everything. she's always loved learning and is likely to be in the library or quizzing all her teachers about best practices and wait shouldn't it be done this way? and what about this concept? yeah she's that girl.
other tidbits: 1) runs to sort out her problems; as a result runs a lot. see her doing her laps around the school. 2) was enrolled into piano for 'the resume' and stuck with it until college; she tutors kids at a nearby town to fill out her calendar. 3) got a nose job when she was sixteen when a ball flew at it in gym class. no ragrets. 4) terrrrible cook. terrible.
