Alex had been alone for a long time, traveling and being surrounded by people, but never truly being there. Never really talking. She was currently doing what she did best, traveling. This time, she traveled to the beach. Somewhere far where she didn’t know anyone. A place she had never been to before. Reaching the beach, she found a small rocky area, shallow for her to dip her feet in without changing. She sat on the rocks and looked out at the sea, she wondered what it was like out there... not somewhere where everyone lived, not somewhere that everyone judged you, but somewhere free, somewhere open, somewhere special.
