Hootpetal's papa!
He was killed before Sprouting Thorns, so is listed as being in Gorsedaisy's Nightmare!
He's more stripey than spotty, huh? His design just kept going to this, which I like, so I'mma come up with a reason for his name: his littermate, Spotskit, died of an upper respiratory infection before reaching three moons old.
The grief followed Drizzle for a long time, and Cuckoostar thought that by having 'spots' in Drizzle's name, he would have a part of Spotskit with him always, and therefore he could live for his brother, as well as for himself. He could be free of the sorrow holding him down, and in a way, Spotskit could get to live the life of a warrior that was taken from him.
It was an idea that worked, as Drizzlespots began to feel like everything he did, he did with purpose, and was finally able to focus on his life. He noticed that his close friend, Wavewillow, had been in love with him for a long time. He spent more time with her--more romantic time than friendship. He became her mate and had a litter of one with her, his little daughter Hootkit.
(Just to be clear, Spotskit wouldn't actually live through Drizzle and Cuckoo knew that, Cuckoo's plan was one more of symbolism).
