I didn’t do modern AU only bc I didn’t have ideas. This one leans more into comfort. But I imagine they would’ve cuddled as kiddos when Meli was stressed. And I think Icarus would’ve been that one person she could cling to and ground herself with when feeling overwhelmed by the life she knew was set in stone for her.
