"Miss me?" she said, cocking her eyebrow in a playful expression. "Would you like to accompany me to the park. I feel like a midnight swing and a good smoke."
I offered her the hint of a smile, a faint blush coloring the hollow of my cheeks, “Maybe.”
"It's been a while," she said, looking her up. "God, you're beautiful."
I turned my head away, the the ghost of a smile appearing. I tugged at the metal staked through my bottom lip as I spoke, “Tack.” She was beautiful.
