[07:15] The objective was to plant an idea inside the robotic minds of today's new line of androids. To push the right buttons that will give them the opportunity to become conscious, breaking the systems implemented inside their wiring. Now, sitting at the counter of a popular café, you were given the opportunity to plant a seed that could start a revolution, all beginning with Service Robot!Kun. 

“Have you ever stepped foot outside?” 

There was no pause to Kun’s movements once the question slipped past your lips, no fault in the repetitive ways in which he moved to complete his programmed task, but he did tilt his head in your direction. 

“Due to protocol, my purpose is strictly to cater to those within this establishment. There is no need for me to step outside. I hope that answered your question.” The answer rolled off his tongue, or voice box, quickly as if he was created to be prepared with that response. Monotone and automatic. 

“Okay, but have you ever wanted to step outside?” Now, you took quick notice of how Kun’s fingers seemed to twitch as he held onto a dirty rag. He then paired his response with an apologetic smile but you knew you were starting to get to him. 

“I’m afraid I do not know how to answer your question.” 

“I see the way you look at the families out on the sidewalk gathering to see the street performers and to window shop at the store fronts.” You began to tap your pointer finger lightly against the side of the ceramic mug  you held. 

“Something inside you itches to see something new, to exist outside of the ordinary.” You then stood up, gaze never leaving Kun. The iris of his eyes pulsating light green, indicating at what he truly is, as he watched your every movement. “Think about it.” 

With that, you walked out leaving behind a baffled Kun who picked up your empty cup. For the first time, Kun felt himself wishing to see you again.
