That was how the day started and how she ended up on the beach in an attempt to tan (or freckle, due to the probability of burning to a crisp.) Of course, even when she wasn’t working as a lifeguard, Aqua couldn’t quite manage to relax in full, glancing back occasionally at the ocean line to make sure no one was in distress. In a week or so the beach would be too packed to see anyone clearly without the height of the lifeguard tower given that the Festival of the Sun was creeping closer, although that always meant a fun, easy game of Spot the Tourists.

 She figured it was at this point she should at least attempt to de-stress, considering she needed it, and a trip to the beach was all she could think about during the last weeks of finals.

Plus with the sunny weather, ice cream sounded pretty good about now.

She turned and faced Terra with a teasing grin, leaning back on her elbows. “Wanna race to the ocean? Or are you going to take a nap, since you don’t have class to sleep through anymore?”
