The festival was still in full swing, and although it could occasionally be frustrating for the locals to move about their daily business with myriads of tourists in the way, Aqua didnât mind much. In fact, the only thing she found frustrating was that she wasnât on vacation like most of these people. There were still days she had to lifeguard, although she supposed she would get her fun participating on Solias Universityâs diving team for the games.
For now though, until it was her shift at the beach, she was content to walk among the street vendors, fellow locals, and tourists alike. The streets were filled with bright colors (the ice cream stand in particular caught her eye, and not because they were also selling balloons there) and it truly was her favorite holiday of the year.
Aqua had spotted a few familiar faces in the crowd and smiled in greeting but one in particular stood out to her. âHey Hakuno! What are you up to?â She recognized Terraâs younger adoptive sister-- she was about Kairiâs age, right? Better make sure she isnât lost, or anything...
