@bodypainting_festival - Online Competition "Psychedelic Circus" - 💜Model: @nicki1390 - thank you for being such a great model 🌊Bodypainting & Photographer: @julieboehm_art Colors: @cameleonpaint 🧘♂️ Inner Peace - Making sense of your psychedelic circus 🧘♀️ Ram Dass (spiritual leader) once said: "When I was born I donned a space suit for living on this plane, it was this bodysuit of our ego structure of becoming 'someone'. (...) You must be so happy with your beautiful suit, they said." Yet to form a strong and confident personality gifted with true happiness one has to go beyond that mere suit. Only going into the depth of one's mind, allows for exploring the different aspects that constitute the 'self'. Those parts of our psyche are like animals constantly fighting for attention. Becoming conscious of those with the help of spiritual keys like meditation or natural substances enables us to balance our inner creatures, like a walk on a tightrope with the goal to harmonize our inner psychedelic circus. I painted my most important characters: Leopard (courage), snail (endurance), elephant (feminine wisdom, forgiveness), butterfly (beauty of the moment, transformation) In doing so we get naked, stripping off our superficial suit and thus getting closer to true happiness and fulfillment. The resulting inner strength, visualized by the vibrant hues in my bodypainting, allows us to appreciative the gift of life and act accordingly.
