Story:
She simply did what she needed to do. That was what she told herself as she held a struggling mollie face-first into the bog.
“You shoulda known better than to hit the wee thing,” She murmured, glancing over to where her three youngsters comforted a trembling scrap of fluff. She frowned and pushed down harder. “Maybe you don’t remember being that small, but I do.” A further shove into the water. “No one helps you when you’re just a wee one, but that’s about to change.”
She dragged the she-cat up just to hiss in her ear. “You really shoulda known better.”
Unfortunately, she also should’ve known that a warrior like Deerleg wouldn’t go out without taking her killer with her.
