Evil twink who got his top surgery recently. I liked him, but I wish he did more; it feels like he had a lot more potential than the Erin’s could ever hope to tap into.
Design Notes:
- He has a slightly faint red glint in his eyes, because he’s evil and dead
- Has the same ear and tail patterns as his mom, along with having the same eye colouring, cheek fur & colours as her (The creamish-white is her belly fur colour). He also has her darker chin, and his face very faintly resembles a colourpoint.
- Apart from what I listed, he is just like his father. He has his build, stripes, fur texture and everything in between.
- Nothing hawk-like about him, but he still one the designs I’m more proud of ^^
Headcannons:
• Note, I haven’t read Sasha’s graphic novel in a while, and even with that I also haven’t read part two of said manga. So I apologize in advance if I say something that’s either wrong or doesn’t make much sense.
• Despite Sasha’s efforts, he didn’t really feel seen by her. Loved? Absolutely, and he’s very grateful for all the care he received before he joined RiverClan. But seen, for his own cat, for his own achievements? Not really. He looked and acted like Tigerstar, and it was painfully obvious to him that every time his mother looked at him, all she saw was this tom that he didn’t even know
• So? He sought him out. He would talk to Moth about who their father could be, and what the clans were like, and why his mom didn’t talk about him, yet thought of him so much. When he joined the clans, Hawkpaw would ask RiverClan about what kind of cat he was. All they would say was that he was a strong yet ambitious cat, and it would only make him want to learn more about him! What were his motives, can he be like him? He’s an ambitious cat too, they could’ve bonded over that together!
• Mothpaw would tell him to drop it, that their dad didn’t matter since their mom was already good enough. And some of his more blunt clanmates would mutter about what a bad cat he was. But all of that flew over his head; he would tell Mothpaw that she should be more concerned about who their dad was, and he would challenge his other clanmates to elaborate, only for them to say that he was too young, or that he wouldn’t understand
• It got to the point that his fascination over his dad would become obsessive, and despite wanting to seem charismatic and cool to his clanmates, he would literally cry himself to sleep, begging for his dad to send him a sign. Any sign.
• One day? It came. In the form of his father using the same technique as Hawk himself would eventually use on Ivypool: By showing him a beautiful place, as he talked about how he missed his precious son, and how he would love to get to know him more. Hawkpaw was entranced, and he would spend the rest of his life all the way down to both his physical, and spiritual death trying his absolute best to impress his dad and make him proud; believing that his father was the absolute pinnacle of masculinity and what a real clancat should be like.
• On a slightly related note, he likes his brother Bramble, but he doesn’t like the fact that he isn’t an absolute Tigerstar glazer like him. He also shows the fact that he is Tigerstar’s in Darkstripe’s face, cuz whenever Dark did something that Hawk didn’t like, he would tell Tiger but reword it in such a way that Dark did was worst than he actually did. Yeah, bro was competing with Dark AND snitching on him. The beef between the two was real
• Mudclaw killed him during the great battle (with Bramble’s help). He NEVER let go of the fact he betrayed and manipulated him during the coup, even if he moved on. So yeah, that was him, not Brambleclaw again.
• I yapped wayyy too much abt him I should tone it down for the others.
