The blade and the one who weilds magic. Whether it be for requisitions or questing for materials, their goal for coin and becoming renowned remained the same. They know the details of Yohan's identity and much about him that he care not admit. One could say they became the best of friends ( why, they even reside in the same home in Memory Grove ... or used to ). They worked together for years. However, there has been a rift in their relationship. As recently as a year ago, Yohan's partner became overzealous with their magic use; even without them being on jobs. This results in some sort of accident that leaves him injured, and their magic is the direct cause of him being partially blind in his left eye now ( and potentially gradually permanent ). He has been extremely cautious around them ever since. mun note. I am open to discussing additional details as to the nature of their relationship, specifically, and how long they've been working together. I was thinking it could also be interesting if this person is in the process of experiencing abyssal rot or magic burn that they have not told him about. They don't have to be a mercenary like he is. In fact, it might be better if they have a relatively mundane "cover" and a potential alias. For example, Yohan is known to be a gardener and trader when not concealing his identity.

Sunjae was married to his high school sweetheart for about three years until things fell apart, and the two divorced. They were far too young and broke for the commitment, and being in college while also dealing with married life put far too much strain on both of them. They would have broken up a few years before the shooting star incident, and things would still be rather awkward.

As He looked at the people around, his eyes locked onto someone, a guy probably taking a break too, leaned by a really cool and apparently new car as a flashback came to his mind for a second. “Nice ride, dude.” He spoke with a nod. “Is it yours?”

Working security for a gated community was decidedly not the direction Paco saw his life going in, but work was work. It didn’t give him the same satisfaction being a sheriff back home did, but it sustained his need for law and order — it was just on a much smaller scale. With less jurisdiction than he would have liked. Better than nothing.

He’d just started his shift when Paco got a call from one of the residents. Already? Paco knew the citizens of Wisteria Court had a tendency to be overly paranoid rich folk, but come on. Time to get to work. 

Ten minutes later, he pulled up to the address given to him and knocked on their door, admittedly scoffing at the McMansion he found around him. His house was much smaller than this one, even if the insanely high rent didn’t reflect it...

Then the door opens.

“Hi there,” Paco says firmly, sizing up the resident who requested his services. It seemed like everybody who lived in Wisteria Court was a goddamn adonis, and this one was no exception. But now wasn’t the time to be unprofessional. “You called about a security concern? What’s the matter? Everything seems fine to me...”
