just knowing that even though they get on each other’s nerves, kakuzu hasn’t killed hidan yet because he trusts him in some weird way

and he’d probably never want another partner because hidan just fits so perfectly

it’s not just that they’re immortal, but they understand each other in some fucked up way

and sure the bickering,man the bickering is what i live for, it’s their form of communication and they can go for hours even if kakuzu wants to throw him into the next galaxy

and that fucking moment when he gives hidan his hi-aite { or however the fuck you spell it } back and hidan’s teasing him, the fucking awkward moment when kakuzu cares and he covers it up with his gruff and rude demeanor like ‘ shut up asshole, let’s go ‘

it’s not all cutesy and shit, but fucked up and so functional and it makes me happy
