It’s never too late to read wc!!!!! I finished a re-read of the first 2 arcs last year and forest of secrets is HIGH STAKES man
Forest of Secrets is such a ridiculous spike stake-wise. Like, second book was pretty intense but third one introduces the biblical cataclysms. Not a single thing goes right for these cats I swear
Also hell yeah it's not too late: I tried to have a go at WC when I was 14 and I couldn't go past the first book on account of feeling "too old". Now, having gotten my fill of reading plenty good classics and "adult books" I can approach it with a fresh mind and a wonderful whimsy that teenagers cannot tap into
