I just finished s2 of EOTFW today and needed more so I turned to fanfic. I just read the first two chapters of What Death Leaves Behind and I love it! When will you be updating your teotfw fanfic?

so I’ll answer this one by saying I don’t know, I don’t have an update schedule, it always depends on my personal schedule, my motivation, how smoothly the writing process is going, etc.! BUT! I’m still invested in writing this story and I’m not giving it up, so another update WILL come, sooner or later, if you are patient!! also I just updated like a few days ago so hold your freaking horses lmao

I ALSO WANT TO SAY, personally it doesn’t bother me much, but this is generally seen as a rude thing to ask fanfic writers since fanfic is like? a free thing we’re giving you?? its sort of like you’re just asking for more without actually being appreciative of what we’ve already written. I’m sure you have perfectly nice intentions! of course!! but I just want to gently let you know, maybe don’t ask that question to people anymore jfhlskdjf

again no hard feelings whatsoever! I’m sure you are perfectly sweet! I’m mostly letting you know so you don’t ask other writers this question where it might be more poorly received. I think maybe you could change your question to “hey, I really like your fanfic, just wondering if you have an update schedule, no worries if not” or something and that’s just nicer

(by the way, if you’re eager for another update, comments and messages letting writers know your thoughts about the fic/chapter are truly fuel and will always help us get more motivated to keep writing and work faster!!)
