Some of our good friends, and admired women in the surf world, are putting together an amazing surf adventure down to Scorpion Bay, Mexico.  A pretty unique concept in the surf world, where participants are given the opportunity to travel and learn to surf from some of the strongest talents in the female surf world!  Mele Saili and Jenayl Peters (both good friends of SALT SURF) will be teaching small group surf lessons to all participants, in an all inclusive trip with an emphasis on sustainable living.  Learn more about the trip here: http://wearecreativeadventurers.com/mexico

My Sister and I Made a Gingerbread House

It was in one of those kits, and came with a gingerbread man. Before we were through, my sister had gotten impatient and eaten off a leg and an arm from the poor guy. When we finished, she glued him to the roof of the house.

Me: Why is he on the roof, anyway? Go home, Sir, you are drunk.

My sister: I don't know, I just couldn't think of anywhere else to put him.

Me: Oh, I see. He's drinking because he's an amputee.

My sister: Aw, that's really sad.

Me: An alcoholic amputee sleeping on the roof on Christmas Night...

My sister: Oh god, that's actually really depressing.

Me: ... How did we manage to make a gingerbread house into a depressing Christmas story?

My sister: Only we could do that...
