I’m not sure if you have talked about this before, but in TLHdo all of the kids speak different languages? And do they all know Russian?
I have mentioned it a few times and I even had a Drabble on it that I think I’ve since lost. Let’s see..
All of the kids do know different languages.
So I believe both R and Nat especially would want them to be well versed in all aspects.
So my headcanons idk if they’re realistic at all but what the hell 🤷🏽♀️
Cara knows spanish as her second language. She knows a bit of Russian but as she came to the house when she was 9 she’s not fully fluent.
Charlie, James, and Paige, Luke can all speak/understand Russian (mainly because Melina and Alexei and often Yelena communicate primarily in Russian). Also Cara does mention that Natasha often has days where she would only speak to them in Russian and they would have to respond (we have a scene in TLH that’s uber cute with Charlie waking up and forgetting to speak English. Kudos to you if you find it).
I do have Charlie understanding more Spanish than her siblings so she and Cara could have fun conversations.
I’d say Paige is now intermediate in Korean.
Natasha speaks like 4 languages so that’s fun. I’d say R took Spanish as a second major for college l knowing she wanted to be a lawyer
Idk if it’s offensive to say their house is the UN but 👀👀👀
My friend was trying to teach me how to say this Arabic word and I couldn't say it but that wasnt going to stop me trying for literally half an hour with my friend and her brother both saying it to me so I could repeat them and then my sister walked past me and heard me just repeating this one word so many times and she started laughing and then my friend was laughing and then I was laughing and it was just a mess and I never even said it right
My friend literally gave up and was like lmao yeah that'll do and I was like bRUH
