This series HURT! Knowing it was coming just made it hurt longer and didn't spare us any of the pain when those tears fell! The story was sad enough, but the acting was absolutely cruel! Apparently we are here for the pain though because we loved it so much.

The complex way this series chose to handle loving someone that hurt them and not solving it with a magic apology was really beautiful. So often we get a completely different resolution. Tim made no excuses. He didn't ask for forgiveness. He just begged to be allowed to love Pai. We are not okay! 😭 Here are some of our favorite posts on the post scam fallout:

I haven't watched something thats left me feeling as vacant and listless about myself as watching madoka magica in a sitting has in a while. So yeah you could say we kinda fucked with it
the ONLY issue i have with the new superman was his parents accents. they were too southern and not midwestern enough. kansas is about as middle of the country as it gets so theres not really southern accents unless its the kids who like to cosplay farmers.
my source? me. someone who grew up in a small farmtown in kansas lmao
The Good Half with Nick Jonas was such a good movie. it was written and acted very well, and it deals with the aftermath of death and grief and how it hits everyone differently. Nick J really shines with his dry and serious personality, it fits the story and the character so well and it was great to see his acting ability shine. the movie itself was so therapeutic, and there are even silly moments that show how everyone grieves in different ways. it was also a celebration of life. i really liked it and i wish more people would see it! unfortunately it’s only in theaters two days (one now) but hopefully it will be available to stream or buy.
