Every limitations set before, be it self imposed or generational or cultural, I surmounted and in the absence of those limitations I have cultivated a sense of self and propriety that has opened doors for me I would have never allowed myself to imagine.

This journey was so arduous, I experienced a totalizing sense of loss for the first time in my adult life. I was blessed enough to have countless souls with compassion and understanding in their heart to steer, protect and mentor me when I was walking around absent of mind. I could cry a thousand rivers of gratitude for the sort of kindness found among unfamiliar faces in unfamiliar places.

The grief is this moment is so profound and its bitter sweetness brings the right words with difficulty. All I know is the greatest gift of life is the ambition to challenge one’s comforts and stake your claim among the table of Giants with a spirit fiercer than David.
