Motivation And What’s Coming Next

Hey, everyone I’ve been pushing back System Failure for a really long time now. I think it’s time to set a firm release date.

I’ll be releasing System Failure on August 1st. Below is the teaser track for it, “What’s Wrong”

I’ve been really focused on the business side of things lately and I think it’s taken too much of my attention from the actual music so I’m going to keep this post short.

Emotions

A song about failed past relationships where lack of honesty caused them to fail. I give all my time to music and my career and it’s hard to find someone who can keep up with that and be comfortable with it.

  No Love

When I wrote this song it was just after a break up, but the overall theme of the song is more towards people who doubt me rather a romantic relationship. It ties in with the other songs on the premise that my dedication to music and grinding gets in the way of my love life. I understand the contrast between love and hate and welcome it because I choose love.

  I’m Sorry

This is an open apology to any past relationships I’ve had. I appreciate them for what they were and they helped me realize what I want and what I have to do. The pains of love give me more reason to make music and act as my muse so I take the bad with the good.

Old Souls Explained Part I

I’ve recently released Old Souls March 17th on Sound cloud and other music platforms. I will go a little more into depth into some of the songs in this blog and the rest in the next.

Fly High:

This song is mostly about past relationships holding me back, not being taken seriously because of my ethnicity in the hip hop genre, and really believing in my own vision of bringing an important message to the world that is: anyone can do anything if you keep at it, you don’t have to settle and if we all worked together we could all be on a higher vibration and do so much more.

People Love To Hate:

This song talks about the stress in past relationships and how I feel like I have to put out all the negative energies I feel to leave room for positivity. A lot of this in a sense is what I consider the young me. Where now, I’ve learned and am better for it, but I know now it’s best to simply avoid negativity where possible so I can spend time inspiring and trying to make a change.

I am working on a single titled Back To Back and a few others that should come out in the next few months. You should also expect to see System Failure fairly soon which What’s Wrong was a teaser track for. It will be a 14 track old school hip hop album. I will leave the teaser below…

Old Souls Release Date Set

Hey everyone I’m excited to announce that I’ve set my release date for Old Souls to be on March 17th which happens to be St. Patrick’s Day! This is a soul / R&B EP and really has no relevance to the holiday, I just figured I’d release on a day that calls for celebration. I’ll drop the cover art below this blurb, I’m really excited to bring this project to everyone.

  I’ve been working on a lot of different projects right now and I want to slow down a bit and focus on System Failure a bit. System failure has to delay a little bit longer to get it really properly finished and then have it mixed and mastered by professionals. I aim to save up some money for marketing it as well in the coming few months. This will be my first official album release so I want to make it big. I also genuinely feel like the content in System Failure is better and more important than anything I’ve ever released. As usual I will tease with the teaser track for the ablum, What’s Wrong

This was a super short blog to just give you a brief update on what’s going on. I’m working on setting up a lot of features with other artists right now. My first mixtape is coming a long really well. I am about to finish school so when that does happen I will have graduated university and be able to dedicate much more time music and really get some content flowing. Until then…..

Do For Love

It’s Bob Marley’s birthday today! I am celebrating it by releasing this new single: Do For Love. It’s a soul, pop, reagge mix and it’s positive and fun. Be sure to check it out below

I am finishing a 5 track EP of soul / hip hop music titled “Old Souls”. Be on the lookout for its release in the near future. I’ve included the picture below

I’m working on a few other project right now including Our Season, The Veil, Voyage, and ‘Who am i?’. I will include their pictures except for ‘Who am i?’ which has no picture currently below in order.

‘Who Am i?’ is the first mixtape I will release and I have features on it with many different artists. If you’re interested in the last few spots email me at [email protected]!

Below I will also repost my teaser track for System Failure titled What’s Wrong, an old-school political hip hop album. I plan to finish this month and release it within a month or two after the release of Old Souls.

I intend to follow it up with ‘Who am i?’, then Our Season or Voyage then The Veil. Likely after that I am looking to release a trap album, a jazz rap album, a pop / R&B album, a sequel album to System Failure titled System Failure II, and many singles along way. I hope you are all as excited as I am for 2017! So keep on the lookout for all this music and as always….

Our Season

Hey sorry everyone for the lack of posts, I’ve been very busy as you’ve probably seen. I’m working on three major projects currently and 2 of them have cover art and teaser tracks: Our Season (“Throwback Thursday” recently released) and System Failure (“What’s Wrong” recently remastered). I will post these below

Our Season’s Throwback Thursday is an upbeat pop rap song I’ve released as a teaser track for the album and there are 9 other songs currently in the works. This track has been receiving some really great mentions and reviews! I’ll post some below

What’s Wrong has probably made it to most of my recent posts for a good reason. This I believe is my most important release so far and I’m really excited to finally get this finished and out to everyone. I currently have almost 10/14 tracks done so definitely early this year I am hoping to release it. I believe my mixtape titled “who am i?” or Our Season will be released afterwards. My next immediate release is actually a single that is slightly soul, slightly pop, slightly reggae. It’s a fun chill song about love and good times I will be releasing it on Bob Marley’s birthday February 6th. This is the coverart here

And so I just want you all to know that I’m trying to keep up with the blogs, but they are on the bottom of my priorities as you obviously want to hear the music more. I will try to get to posting every two to three weeks and maybe do some podcasts starting this summer with Facebook live and post them on YouTube afterwards.

Anyways I’m always on the grind and I hope you are too. The next post will be about Do For Love and hopefully the next about System Failure releasing
