Americans, Congratulations
We will be in history books.
This current timeline we are part of will be written and shared across the world.
They will write of our hatred. Our civil unrest. Our racism. Our lack of action. Our juvenile president. Our corrupt government.
We will be the chapters that students grimace at. We will be the paragraphs teachers pause on. We will be the words carried with dread and pity. This course of our lifetime will be a laughing-stock for generations to come.
Concentration camps. Riots. Immigration outcasts. A dystopian wall surrounding the country. Division and exclusion. Police brutality, court injustice, increasing crime. Peaceful protesters attacked. Women's Rights resurfacing again; abortion. Pollution and focusing on the wrong things to fix it. Greed in the face of increasing poverty. Corporation's care for money over health.
In the grand summary of all of it there will be no left vs. right. There will be no direct individual to blame. It will be us. All of us. Americans. Those who complained and did nothing. Who wished, but didn't pursue The failure of this century.
I hope you are happy with what we've accomplished. I'm not.
