We had country radio on at work the other day and one song was like, "let's put a red sunset in our windshield and leave this place behind," which is a sentiment I've heard before.

But being in the midst of problems ourselves, I had the sudden realization that we could no longer run like that. There's no packing up our bags and calling it a loss until the bank man comes to take it.

My husband's great grandparents bought this place not long before the Great Depression and managed to keep it.

You won't catch us giving up for anything less.
