Weapon Ideas that I hope show up in Elden Ring: Night Reign.

1. A Greathammer* that's head is made of some form of stoney material with raw glintstone spikes sticking out of it. The intent being that it can be a hammer weapon that does Strike & Pierce damage, alongside it being able to have magic damage while not needing to have any magic scaling attached to that damage. (Would enjoy it being a Weapon Catalyst, but that might be a little much.)

2. A shortsword/whip combo weapon....just...just give me Ivy from Soul Caliber's weapon. Make the light attacks the standard shortsword affair, then have the heavy's cause the sword to extend/segment for better range/crowd control.

3. MOAR FUCKNG BEASTCLAW WEAPONS!!!!!!!! PLZ I BEG YOU!!!!

4. Fume Knight Ultragreastword. Gimme gimme gimme my fav strength weapon from DS2.

5. A pair of Dryleaf art or Gauntlet weapons that are made of pure energy. No not like the Cypher Pata. I mean like they are clenched fists made of like...magic or some shit. Lemme punch people with energy fists that do pure magic damage.

Random morning idea: Valve could make a new sapper for Spy.

Features:

Name: Dapper Sapper

Looks like: Spy's Dapper Cadaver magazine. Well it IS the magazine. The sapper (shaped like a Spycrab for reasons unknown) is on the back of it.

Special taunt: Flicking through pages fast.

Item checking: Flicking through randomized pages. Spy also turns it back to look at the sappers.

You can actually read it if you hold the item checking button for three seconds after he finishes the item check animation!

Well, until a set amount of time, that is (five - ten seconds). Timer ends, Spy stops reading and you might have to wait a few more minutes so gameplay won't be affected!

Pros:

When finished sapping, the explosion hurts enemy teammates close to building.

Takes a 50% shorter time to sap said building.

Cons:

50% chance it won't stick and has to be reapplied.

When failed to stick, regardless if disguised or not, sentries start shooting you, dispensers start harming you, and teleporters teleport you to a random location in the map within view of the enemy team.

Think of it as non-beneficial short circuits.

So it's a gamble. Sapper sticks and gives you enough time to escape and harms enemy teammates on your sorry tail, or sapper does not stick and you either get terribly hurt, die, or get teleported right next to the enemy.

For once in my life I like my concepts.

Inspired by @starr-fall-knight-rise Drev characters, I've been working on hand-combat weapon concepts. I'm kind of proud of them so far because I havent done weapon illustration in quite a while, but I'm especially liking the lore that is going in to these concepts.

Admittedly, some of them are a bit too 'human', but others definitely capture the feel I get from these characters when reading about them.

This is just 100% fan art, which I've never done before tbh. And it's not really fine art, just concept sketches and schematics.

This is the first sci-fi series I've really heavily gotten in to since I was in highschool, so I'm really enjoying this little self-indulgence.
