I finished something... and notjust a one-day quick project! Since Mom's accident, I have not had focus. This was a big win. All supplies (even zipper, buttons and lining came from stash, but all had not been used before (no refashioning). I made the skirt about a year ago. @lauravolpintesta and I love the hourglass lines of princess seams, and this is my first successful project using them on myself. As a first time with this pattern, I am thrilled. There are two places I will take in a small tuck, the top inch and bottom 2-1/2 inches of those seams. Everything else is perfect. I am now scanning my stash for appropriate fabric to make another. Can I say how much I dislike working with silky synthetics??? That lining was hard to press, despite being fuzzy on the wrong side. #sewistsofinstagram #halloweencostume #wearablemuslin #successfulproject #artasaneverydayattitude https://www.instagram.com/p/BppkG9onq-8/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=10xsdv533wtfd
