Maybe he shouldn't have pushed his luck this far. Something he can't go back to make another decision. His injuries are pretty bad but not enough to shut down completely but the hit made him fall. He crawled his way to the nearest place he can use as a cover- he rests his back against the wall behind him, Looking at the damage did make him realize he should be more careful with himself...And maybe he stays behind would have been a better idea.

A moment passed and things were a bit calmer but he has to get help soon, Just as he was about to try to get back on his feet he saw the other approaching with worries. He can't blame him to be in this state of mind but he wishes he wasn't there to see him like this..in pain and visible weakness.

“Simon…You were right I’m sorry for leaving you. I should have listened to you.”

Not the right time for a discussion about past choice but he wanted to tell him. He didn't have the courage to keep looking at him so he looked away. Unsure of what's going to happen now...But to see him reassure him as he knows he's safe and well. Unlike him who got himself into trouble unnecessarily.
