Als groep zijn we samengekomen om te onderzoeken welk bedrijf het meest relevant zou zijn om te bezoeken. We hebben meerdere bedrijven gecontacteerd maar kregen slechts op enkele mails antwoord. Uiteindelijk hebben we de keuze gemaakt voor het bedrijf dat het meest paste bij onze richting en waar we het meest geïnteresseerd in waren: First. Nadien hebben we samengezeten om ons bezoek aan dit bedrijf voor te bereiden om zo veel mogelijk te weten te komen over dit bedrijf. Een van de verantwoordelijken heeft ons uitgenodigd voor een gesprek. Hierbij hadden we een officiële afspraak en stond ons bedrijfsbezoek vast. Samen hebben we gezocht naar de gepaste vragen die we konden stellen. We hebben geanalyseerd welke vragen ons de meeste info zouden opleveren over de werking van het bedrijf, de marketingstrategie en de doelstellingen. Het was onze taak om het bedrijf zo goed mogelijk te leren kennen. We zijn gaan lunchen met een van de medewerkers van het bedrijf die ons zeer openlijk ontvangen heeft en ook zeer enthousiast antwoordde op onze vragen. Het was een zakelijk maar vriendelijk gesprek waardoor we de gelegenheid en tijd hadden om extra vragen te stellen. Het was een zeer aangename en interessante ontmoeting wat ons veel bijgeleerd heeft.
