“Gareth... Is this real magic?”

As a believer in magic herself, it must be strange for Hailey to ask this question. Though, it was also an important question to ask because...Hailey knew magic could be faked. She didn’t know how to differentiate between magic and tricks yet, especially because all the magic she’d seen so far has been used to harm people, but... What if Gareth could do real magic? He could help so many people with his gift.

“Even I didn’t know I was this strong!” Hailey’s voice echoed in the hallway as she carried Sophie on her shoulders and two shopping bags in one hand. She used her free hand to hold on to Sophie’s leg, afraid of dropping her. The girl wasn’t heavy, but her weight still gave Hailey an ache in her back. She didn’t mention it, though, and proceeded to ring the bell to Gareth’s apartment the moment she reached his door. She waited a while as Sophie told her about why she picked the colouring book she picked. The conversation didn’t last long, but the wait did. Hailey rang the bell again.

Nothing.

She carefully sank down into a crouching position, wanting Sophie off her shoulders. When Sophie’s feet touched the ground, Hailey knocked on the door with both hands, making a somewhat poorly orchestrated beat. “Gareth? Garettthhhhh, we god colouring books and snacks. Open up!”

He found out about another person calling them self a Cybergod. There was no way Seven would be able to resist looking up this person. And once that was done, actually setting to hacking into something private of theirs. See how well their security was, and how they would react to someone getting past it. The moment he could, he just sent a cheeky little message to the other. "Hello There! Nice little space you got!"

It was rare for people to get through his security and send his direct IP a message, yet here he was... Startled by the sudden message on his computer.

Damn near gave him a heart attack.

Thankfully, it didn’t seem this person meant any harm-- not yet, at least... Though, with the access he had, this fellow surely could do worse than a simple message.

Mental note to up security.
