She stared with wide, wide eyes deep into the sky. How very long it is, for a look to go from here to a star. Why, if she looked long enough, perhaps what she would recall seeing would fall back to that very spot hours after she had walked away. Or perhaps it would blow away, and she would not remember at all. Perhaps someone else would find that thought instead, and sit down and look up to try to see what she saw. And so such a memory chips, again and again, away from that very wide expanse.
