Finding its origins in Greek mythology, the most popular form of a chimera is an impressive fire-breathing beast sporting the head of a lion, the body of a goat and a tail of a snake. This is not the only form of a chimera, however. A true chimera is any mythical or fictional animal comprised of of parts taken from other animals (for e.g., a griffin, pegasus, or hippogriff).

Once thought to be a subspecies of goblinoids, kobolds are in fact, a distant relative to dragons. This draconic heritage is evident in the reptilian appearance of these creature and their tenancies to serve their powerful cousins in hopes that they tips the scales in their favour.

Fire is a destructive and powerful force, either kindling the seeds of new life or barren waste lands that once homed lives and dreams. The form of a fire elemental differs from one to the next, but they are all embodiments of fire that burn everything they touch. for all their power, the fire elemental has a weakness: water.

While a shy and reclusive race, they are driven by a fervent curiousity. With features of beautiful, elven features, the most notable trait of sylphs are their magnificent, brightly-colored wings.
