Okay tumblr, I have had a handful of leather jackets in my life, and leather boots.

But I just thrifted this really really cool leather vest on my holiday trip to New York

And I need to get better at taking care of my leather jackets and boots anyway,

So if you have any tips on cleaning and maintaining leather wear, throw them my way!

I know the basics like

-don’t wash in washing machine / dry clean

-don’t get them soaking wet

-use leather cleaner and cloth + damp cloth to remove excess leather cleaner, and then use leather conditioner with new dry cloth

But any favorite leather clean and condition brands, any experiences using saddle soap, etc. send your tips my way!
