this is from an article about why women should wear skirts full time which I really want to write a longer post about, but I found this paragraph especially amusing because...yeah y’know what here I am:

first I thought “hmm are pants really a sin” and then I started listening to ‘worldly music’ (heaven forbid) and yes I do think it’s okay to miss church occasionally for reasons other than contagious illness (not that I could ever beat back the duty demon enough to actually miss church) and tbh if alcoholism didn’t run in my family maybe I would drink eventually; and finally yes, yes ladies and gentlemen, I do probably - by IFB standards - engage in ‘improper conduct’ with my boyfriend such as *gasp* hand-holding and hugging.

so. y’know. she’s not really wrong about this. she’s just...wrong about it being a bad thing
