While at work I realized my campaign doesn’t really have an interesting weather system. Most of the days are nothing noteworthy and aren’t particularly interesting. But, now in my campaign were are entering into late autumn/early winter so I decided to create my own weather system! It includes the four seasons and is intended for temperate climates.
I am by no means an expert on weather, this is all pretty basic and just for fun. You can use this table and modify as you see fit.

How to Use this Table: Simply all you need to do is roll a 1d100 to determine what kind of weather will occur on that day and then roll the rest of the tables that follow. You can ignore, add, or change rolls if the given details do not fit together or if you want more specific details. (For example, the Unusual Weather only specifies one pattern of weather. So you could also roll Regular Weather to inspire/fill in the rest of the details)
Weather Duration: Sometimes weather remains fairly consistent over the course of a few days, going from a rainstorm to a bright sunny day back to a rainstorm might feel strange or out of place. (Although weather can be pretty strange) Simply rolling a 1d6 or 1d8 to determine how many days the weather will last can help keep things a little more realistic.
Gradual Weather Change: Along with Weather Duration, you can also change a few details of the weather from day to day (if it’s supposed to last a while) by using the option (or two) above or below the current weather rolled. (For example a Hot day with a Strong Breeze could change to a Mild Heat with a Moderate Breeze followed by a Hot day without wind)
