How horrible is it to be told nothing is wrong with you when clearly there is? When you're illness isn't validated, I'm really sorry you had to go through that, it's horrible! But thanks hun, I know I most likely wouldn't even be here still without those few that do get it and are understanding and I'm just really fortunate to have a mother who reminded me today no matter where she will always be here to look after me, I obviously don't want to be reliant on her forever, my goal is not to be, but jut to have someone there is a big thing for us.
about synesthesia and drugs; I've got some chronic pain issues and I've been on several different drugs at different times trying to manage them. one of the combinations I was on amped my synesthesia up to 11 and even managed to kind of reverse it so not only was I smelling colors, I was seeing the colors that went with physical smells in the area every time I blinked or shut my eyes for a bit. it got a bit less intense after a month or so, but it was still more intense than normal while on that
