Here's the 1 worst hire most RE agents make every month (besides them selves)
Here’s a story, tell me if you can identify our hero:
shows up to work on-time, and is almost always there, hard to find when you need help with a client
Doesn’t necessarily have the look, doesn’t match, doesn’t wear business attire, yet totally means well; first impressions are not his thing. In fact, he’s kind of a wall flower with no style.
You’re not really sure what his job description is, which department he belongs to, where he’s from, and really who’s holding him accountable. He LOOKS busy, you just don’t see a whole lot of production from him.
On top of that, sometimes he’s the guy who just says the wrong thing. And doesn’t say enough of the right things. Mostly uses technical jargon that confuses the clients, and worst of all? Gives away all of your paid information for free. OR he’s quiet. Not very descriptive. Doesn’t describe how the client’s needs are met at all. CONSTANTLY giving out his resume.
And he’s the new guy. Not only do YOU not know who he is, no one on staff knows either, nor do your clients. He shows up on no rosters, no directories, and he has no references anywhere. He just showed up one day, with no announcement, job description, review.
In the world of matching staff on your team with the right jobs, he’s just not the right match.
Bring me your guesses....
