this was supposed to be just a simple short walk. nothing more. honestly. maybe meet a few more of the residents in the city, spend some time with the general public. nothing dark or nefarious, really. loki’s left that life behind them. and they’ve certainly not planned on running into one of the avengers while out on this walk. at least, loki, supposes as they stare at clint, it’s not thor or someone else who wishes them dead. probably. “ah, hello. fancy seeing you here,” loki greets the other with a cautious smile.
