He glanced over at the other upon hearing that he could warp reality, but decided to not respond. It was something Bruce found fascinating but also anxiety inducing - given the experience he had when Wanda used her abilities on him. 

“That’s fair, most people are annoying,” David offered. David wasn’t making an effort to pry in Bruce’s mind, but still between the glance and what he couldn’t help but pick up he could easily guess that it was the mention of his power that made the other uncomfortable. David didn’t particularly care though, most people who knew even a fraction of the things he could do were scared of him. “I don’t really know I’m actually positive as much as I... Just don’t care too much.”

“Left to my own devices I don’t really scheme,” Tommy admitted with a shrug. “I’m more of an impulse guy, it comes with the speedster turf.”  Tommy laughed and shook his head at her suggestions. “Technically I am an Avenger, so they’re safe from my wrath for now. I was thinking about egging Charles’ school though, just for kicks.”

“Truly,” Kurt said as he turned to face the woman who had spoken to him. Kurt wasn’t sure how to take her lack of expression, but she didn’t seem to be malicious. “A lot of times they are vorse.”

He was suddenly stunted by the sight of Bucky in front of him, he dropped and forgot about the trash. He had been wondering if there would ever be a moment he would see his friend again, and here it was. He was reminded of the ashes he was turned into, “Bucky? how- what are you- are you okay????”

Bucky had only been back for a couple of weeks. He’d thought about seeking out Steve, but he hadn’t felt like he was ready to see him again yet. As usual Bucky’s plans for himself seemed to be quite different from those of the universe at large. “The one and only,” Bucky replied with a forced smile. “I was dead for two years, I’m coping.”

It wasn’t that she was a cynical person, she would typically describe herself as anything but, but after watching her father disappear, she didn’t think she could handle much more. She just wanted to get back to her own dimension and have things back to how they were supposed to be, before all of this superhero bullshit ruined it all.

“Excuse me?” He’d never even met this girl before tonight and now apparently she’d watched him turn to dust. It didn’t seem very likely. “I turned to dust in the middle of the Wakandan woods. I think you have me confused for someone else.”

“arrow man ?” clint raised a brow, but shrugged a second later. “guess i’ve been called worse.” arrow man, he could at least live with. it wasn’t wrong. he did, after all, love arrows. as the other takes the coffee pot and drinks from it, clint is puzzled. he’s only ever known one person to do that - tony. but clint’s practically the definition of easy going, so he just shrugs it off. “that’s what they teach you in school, right? though there are some things that shouldn’t be shared. i’ll save you the trouble of having to stand here while i try to come up with a list of things other than ‘hats ’. can i have the coffee pot back?”

“Yeah sure,” Tommy set the pot on the counter before zipping over to the fridge. “One, needles. I’d argue that’s more important than hats, even.” Tommy searches through the fridge in only a couple of seconds before moving on to the cabinets. “Razors and toothbrushes too,” Tommy’s done with all cabinets as quickly as he finished with the fridge. “Do you have anything here worth eating?” Tommy asks as he continues speeding around the kitchen, moving quicker than Clint could ever hope to keep up with. Finally he stops in front of Clint. “You got any cash on you?”

“I don’t think you’re crazy for being happy,” Bruce replied. Although he supposed the expression on his face might have given the other that impression. “Just unusual to see people really happy these days, I guess..”

“You wouldn’t have been the first person who did,” David didn’t seem too bothered by it either way. “Well someone’s gotta keep the mood up around here. I kind of can’t believe it’s me, but leave it to a reality warper to not care about reality falling apart.”

It was only natural that they’d bond over causing trouble and making chaos. Tommy had always thought it was funny that his self proclaimed chaos magic using twin brother was actually a massive narc. Blair on the other hand seemed to speak his language when it came to wreaking havoc. “Well, what kind of schemes have you got cooking?”

Once David felt assured that the parts were done exploding he let the barrier down, leaving the parts to lay on the desk. “Don’t sweat it,” he replied with a shrug, that kind of maneuver was pretty much nothing to David. “Where did you even get things that could make an explosion like that?”

No matter what state the universe was in, Steve would never stop training and pushing himself. His runs around the city were regular and often. He decided to take it easy though and jog to observe the world around him. As he jogged he saw a person with what looked like a food wrapper or something of the sort in their hands. He watched them crumple it and throw it towards th trash can and miss. Instead of picking it up and trying again they walked away. He raised an eyebrow and picked up the trash before he jogged up to them, “Hey, you missed the bin. I know it might feel like the world is in shambles, but we still have to live in it.”

In all honestly Bucky hadn’t even been paying attention enough to notice that he’d missed his throw into the trash. He’d done it the way he’d done most things since he reappeared on earth, on autopilot. If it weren’t for the fact that it was Steve who had stopped him he probably would have kept on walking and ignored him. “Oh, uh, sorry. I didn’t notice.”

“I am fine, sank you,” Kurt reassured the concerned stranger. “I am a little cold and vet, but I’ve had vorse,” he continued as he pulled his hood back over his head. “I schould get goink zough.”
