The Fool of Faith in: The Web of Shadows
Location: Mementos
Some time after dealing with the palace belonging to Haru's father, they were currently in the midst of waiting for him to come out and say everything in regard to his change of heart. Of course, they didn't know that this was all a set up and he was going to die. But for the time being they decided to keep their skills sharp by having a trip to mementos. The new area that got unlocked after changing Futaba's heart.
It was pretty simple. They were going to go as far as they could and hopefully reach the bottom of the area. Maybe this would be the bottom, or there would be more to come. Honestly they weren't sure. Morgana swore that this would help restore his memories though so they all went along with it.
"Skull and I had a great bowl of ramen the other night." Yusuke began as the monamobile. "It got me to thinking. The ingredients in the bowl looked as refined and elegant as when you poise and grace over the enemies here. I wish to capture that essence sometime, Rose."
Kasumi just sweat-dropped at that. "You sure about that Fox?"
"Don't listen to him Rose. Inari's just being his weird usual self." Futaba remarked before Inari yelled at her in pure annoyance.
"i am not, I do not like being called weird!" Inari retorted. "My point is that Rose here has an elegance that should be shown off. Unlike yourself."
"What was that Inari?!"
"I said what I said Oracle. You do not have elegance and grace like our leader here."
"That's it mister, I'm putting you in time out and--" Suddenly Morgana yelled as a dark pillar formed in front of him. There was nothing any of them could do. Makoto was driving but she found herself unable to get Morgana even remotely slowed down and Morgana found himself crashing into the pillar and returning to normal.
The Phantom Thieves were yeeted into the air and landed against the hard ground of mementos. Kasumi rolled a few times and landed on her back. All of them were fine of course, but that didn't mean she wasn't groaning a little in pain. Was this some new trap in mementos?
"Is everyone...alright?"
They all said that they were fine but were wondering what that was all about. It was some sort of dark energy pillar that they had crashed into. It didn't look like anything that was in mementos. But they didn't have much time to figure things out or put themselves together as...
A giant fissure appeared underneath Kasumi. It spread open and Kasumi found herself falling between the cracks of reality itself, into the cognitive sea. The fissure closed as soon as it opened, leaving the Phantom thieves without a leader.
"W-What the eff just happened?!" Ryuji blurted out without hesitation.
"R-Rose just...disappeared!" Ann said in disbelief and shock.
"Do you think that she fell to another floor perhaps?" Yusuke asked but was in shock himself.
"Oracle, could you check for signs of Rose's signal?" Makoto asked, well more like demanded.
"Checking...I see no signs of Rose's signal anywhere..."
They were all in massive disbelief. They couldn't believe this. Their leader, Kasumi was just gone. Maybe she ended up outside of Mementos and back in the real world? So, with a bit of hopium on their side they decided to go back to the real world. But that's not where Kasumi was going to end up.
She wouldn't remember any of this, but she was going through the cognitive sea, deeper…further. It wasn't that long of a trip, but next thing she knew she was thrust out into Shibuya scramble. In the middle of the road. Someone grabbed her before she became a gymnast pancake.
Location: Shibuya Scramble. Time: Early evening
"What the hell were you doing out in the middle of the road?!" The person yelled at her. "You almost got taken to the great beyond!"
Kasumi was nauseous and trying to keep herself together. She barely got a sorry out before walking towards the station. Her mind was in a fog. She was having memory problems. She knew who she was and all that but anything in the past hour or two was just like in a thick soup.
She didn't even notice that things were different around her. She gripped her stomach and went to the stairs and tried to activate the Metanav app to go back to Mementos. She must have been kicked out. But...

She kept pressing the app icon repeatedly and hearing that same error. Her mind was still in a massive fog, and her stomach was about to revolt all over the ground. What the hell was going on?! It didn't matter because not too long after that, before she could get anywhere near a bathroom, she found herself hurling.
All the lunch that she ate and drank unceremoniously came out and she found herself vomiting a few times. It was disgusting and she felt ashamed of herself but there was no way that she could do anything about it. Some onlookers looked disgusted as she stood there, hunched over as she could taste the bile in her mouth.
Some cleaning crew people came over and asked if she was alright and she told them that she just probably had food poisoning or something and would put on a mask and apologized profusely about the mess. It wasn't the first time a drunk person or a sick person made a mess all over the ground.
Now that she was feeling a little better, she decided the best course of action was to make her way back to Yongen. She went to the train line and used her phone like always. If she was paying attention, it would accept but it wasn't accepting as hers anyways. But it didn't matter.
Her first thought was that the others were trapped in mementos but...what was she supposed to do? Her mind was trapped in this fog and the metanav app wasn't exactly working all that well. At least she wasn't nauseous anyways.
Getting to Yongen-Jaya, she slowly made her way to the cafe, only now starting to notice some weird differences between the Yongen that she knew and the Yongen of Aaron's world. But maybe she hadn't paid attention as much as she thought anyways. And this is when Aaron would more than likely see her, checking her phone frantically.
She was checking her contacts.
Her messages.
It was all there but when she tried to send anything to anyone it all came back with weird errors like they didn't exist. Including people like Takemi.
Ugh...
She really was in for it, huh?
