Video Schedule
Here it is, folks! A really convoluted schedule, but a schedule nonetheless!
There will be a video every week (sometimes twice). Why? Because I like being confusing.
First, a description of the type of videos to be found:
Midnight Madness Monday - At 12:01AM EDT, I’ll Twitch some scary game, complete with facecam for all of the jump-scare goodness. Stream will last at least an hour, or longer, if I can take it.
Twitch Tuesday - Sometime around 9:00PM EDT, I’ll Twitch a random XBOX One game from the comfort of my living room. There may or may not be a facecam, depending on who else is in the house. It wouldn’t be a great shot anyhoo, unless I decide I’m going to play standing up and dance around the room or somesuch. These streams will probably only last an hour.
Webcam Wednesday - Probably the laziest one of the bunch, but still fun, I imagine. I can’t guarantee a time on this one, but I can promise that sometime on Wednesday, I’ll post a rambling video shot on my webcam (or iPhone, if I’m cheating) to YouTube. Topics will vary according to my mood and events that day.
Throwback Thursday - One of the more ambitious of the types, I’ll either be Twitching an old-school console game (we’re talking pre-XBOX here), or there will be a fancily edited video posted to YouTube. Specifics to be determined as I get closer to an actual video Thursday.
Fast Food and/or Freebie Friday - Another variable product here: Either you’ll be seeing some low-production offering where I talk about new items in the fast food world or a free-to-play game that I’ve tried, or a high-production piece where I, well, talk about new items in the fast food world or a free-to-play game that I’ve tried. Maybe both. Fast food and a game, that is. It’s not likely that there will be a livestream involved here, since most of the free-to-play games I like are deathly boring to watch.
Saturday & Sunday I’m reserving for special events.
So how does this work out to being one video (or two) a week? I’m glad you asked! Basically, I’ll start on the first day of the month, then cycle through the different types until I reach the end of the month, and start over in the following month.
Wow. Crazy? You bet. So here’s what we’re looking at for September:
Sept. 1st - Twitch Tuesday
Sept. 9th - Webcam Wednesday
Sept. 17th - Throwback Thursday
Sept. 25th - F-something Friday
Sept. 28th - Midnight Madness Monday
And then, since Oct. 1st is on the following Friday, there will be two videos that week. Lucky you!
If you stayed with me for this whole thing, thank you, and let me know what you think. I’m going with this because I want to be able to try different things, while still putting out some sort of weekly content. As I get better at it, get a better sense for what my schedule allows, and if things seem to be popular, I’ll consider making some of the types a regular weekly thing.
