In simple terms the idea of umbrella branding relies with a straightforward and efficient marketing strategy which involves the sale or marketing several items under a single brand name, or master brand.
The umbrella strategy for branding is a procedure where sub-brands are utilizing the brand recognition of the master brands to establish an entry point into the market, and also help these products and services be readily adopted by consumers, which gives them an advantage over other brands . They also benefit from the their umbrella strategy.
