Webkinz Returning to Browser

I thought I should enter from what I read about this news on the upcoming Update.

Welcome to the long blog. This will be easier to post as Twitter is limited on what characters used. Please enjoy and note that I am not Ganz staff.

What Devices Will Webkinz Support

Webkinz will Support when it enters browsers for all areas the following. Windows Operating Devices Chrome OS Devices Andoid Devices Apple Devices Linux Devices Hey Possibly we could see Webkinz being able to be played on Apple and Meta VR browsers.

Beta Testing

There is more info to come out in the coming months. With Beta testing to come we could possibly see further news around May or June.

Bug Fixes & New Features

Webkinz noted there will be Bug Fixes and Fixing of old features that no longer Exist However I do believe this may be a future phase. This May be a update as big as X. This Includes the possible repair or return of: TV's Working in the houses Inviting and Visiting Friends Party Pack's Gardening - Watering & Weeding Magical Forest Loading Lag Log Out Carnival Returns

What we will not see:

Mazin Hamsters - Mazin Hamsters runs on such an old version of Unity it would need a whole new code from top to bottom to work again. Dicekinz - While it would be nice seing it return the game was to confusing for kids and remember this is just a kids game so it likely wont return unless the whole idea is more simpler and easier for kids to understand. Webkinz Mini Golf - The Game was retired to make way for Grand Grotto.

What is Next for the Desktop App

After reading the comments I found a comment Sally replied to explaining the Browser will run on a different code and once the browser version is out the desktop app wont recieve the same updates and features the browser will get. However it is most likely the desktop app will just emulate the browser.

Webkinz New Plush Q&A

Welcome to the Q&A! Please note this is from a fan view some answers are from other resources while some are assumptions.

Why is Webkinz going to be available in stores only? I believe this is happening because When Gen 2 was tested in stores in 2021 the plush was already available on the estore and amazon store for a year making people not interested in shopping in stores. When items dont sell stores tend to not order more. So putting them in stores first and only is nostalgia first but also will keep them in a spot where old users and new users can go to and support a local buisness into purchasing more webkinz plush.

What countries will the new plush be available in? Just like the Gen 1 Plush, the Plush will be available in the United States and Canada! Unfortunately it is unclear of users in other countries at the moment.

Will there be a list of stores? Yes! The plush will be on the store locator (When a announcement is made) Click Here!
