Local yarn-shop is..... something...

I made an account on their website.. and they sent me those usual welcome email with:

"Thank you for making an account at our shop! Your username is [insert my username] and your password is [insert my password]. REMEMBER it is important to never share those items! with others or accross email."

Well then... why are you sharing both my user and my password in the same email yourselves and tell me not to do that myself.

Taakstraf en voorwaardelijk voor oplichting via Marktplaats

Een man (26, uit Amersfoort) die jarenlang mensen oplichtte via Marktplaats, is veroordeeld tot 120 dagen voorwaardelijk, 180 uur taakstraf en de verplichting om 24 mille terug te betalen aan zijn slachtoffers. Jonge oplichters bouwden neppe fatbike-webshop

De politie Den Bosch heeft twee tieners (18 en 19) aangehouden die een webshop hadden gemaakt waarop ze zogenaamd fatbikes verkochten. In werkelijkheid was er niets te koop, ontdekten slachtoffers. Er liggen al elf aangiftes tegen de twee, maar de politie vermoedt dat meer slachtoffers zijn. Vrouw aangehouden voor langdurige oplichting via webshops

De politie heeft een vrouw (38, uit Strijen) aangehouden vanwege bestelfraude. De vrouw bestelde jarenlang allerlei pakketjes bij webshops, op andermans naam en adres; de facturen gingen naar de nietsvermoedende slachtoffers. Bij één webshop bestelde de vrouw in een jaar tijd voor 16 duizend euro; het totaalbedrag van de oplichting wordt nog berekend.

Netwerk van frauduleuze winkelsites offline gehaald

Onder leiding van de Polizeidirektion Hannover en een regionaal Staatsanwaltschaf hebben polities in Duitsland, Finland, Noorwegen en Nederland een netwerk van nepshops offline gehaald. Bij de actie werden meer dan vijftig servers uitgeschakeld en is meer dan 200 terabyte aan digitaal bewijsmateriaal veiliggesteld.
