AI isn’t some distant future concept, it’s already shaping how we work, communicate, and create. 🚀 At Web Summit Qatar, listening to Mati Staniszewski , co-founder & CEO of ElevenLabs , really reinforced this idea. We talked about how voice and language AI are not just improving efficiency, but fundamentally breaking down language barriers. 🙏🏻 As a social media content creator, I’m a huge fan of ElevenLabs. It gives me the freedom to create content in any language, using my own cloned voice, while preserving tone, emotion, and authenticity. I don’t just translate words I translate feelings. 🫠 ✨That changes everything. I shared with Mati how often I rely on ElevenLabs while producing content, how it helps me reach global audiences without friction, and how voice AI enables real, human connection across languages. AI may feel like it’s evolving gradually, but moments like these remind me, the way we connect, build, and collaborate is already being redefined. Excited to see how voice and language AI will continue to unlock seamless, real-time understanding worldwide. 🚀

At Web Summit Qatar, I had the chance to experience Snap Inc.’s immersive AR showcase firsthand and even try Snap Spectacles myself. 🕶️

Snap’s presence at the Summit went far beyond a product demo. It showed how augmented reality has evolved from experimentation into a practical tool for digital transformation, creativity, and cultural storytelling across the region. From mobile AR and machine learning to wearable computing and generative AI, the experience highlighted how these technologies are being applied in meaningful, real-world use cases.

I also had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Resh Sidhu, Senior Global Director of Innovation, AI, AR & Specs Marketing at Snap. Her perspective on spatial computing and the future of next-gen wearables where design, technology, and storytelling intersect was truly inspiring.

With over 350 million people engaging with AR daily on Snapchat and a global ecosystem of creators pushing these boundaries forward, it’s exciting to see how AR is becoming a scalable platform shaping communication, culture and everyday experiences.

A great reminder of why Web Summit Qatar matters bringing together technology, creativity, and meaningful conversations under one roof.

Qatar continues to position itself as a global technology and events hub, 🌍uniquely blending deep rooted culture with innovation. I had the opportunity to attend Web Summit Qatar and spent an incredible four days immersed in conversations, ideas, and connections shaping the future of technology. 🚀

The scale and diversity of the event clearly reflected where the global tech ecosystem is heading. With over 30,000 attendees from 127 countries, Web Summit Qatar brought together a truly international community 🌐. More than 1,600 startups 85% of them international connected with nearly 1,000 investors, marking a 29% year-over-year increase 📈 and signaling growing global confidence in the region’s innovation landscape.

Across 427 speakers and 180 meetups, founders, investors, technologists, and policymakers exchanged ideas that will influence the next generation of products and platforms. The participation of 22 government delegations, many attending Web Summit Qatar for the first time, further highlighted Qatar’s rising strategic role in global technology conversations.

One of the most inspiring indicators for the future was the progress in inclusion: 38% of startups were founded by women, up from 31% in 2024 💪. This momentum points toward a more balanced, diverse, and sustainable innovation ecosystem in the years ahead.

A huge thank you to Paddy Cosgrave, co-founder and architect of Web Summit, and the entire Web Summit team for bringing one of the world’s most impactful technology events to Qatar. And special thanks to Qatar for its exceptional hospitality and flawless hosting it truly set the stage for meaningful global collaboration. 🙏
