1) Style is simple - Pinterest - Wolfensson

I enjoy this piece of typography through the use of colour and a hand written style. The eroded, painted and used look is ideal to fit in with the theme of my project. I like the distressed look as it looks personal and effective when it comes to representing a theme. I also like the chosen modern text so that behind all of the erosion and distress, the text looks clean and alive.
2) Wild Rose - Pinterest - From up North

This piece of typography caught my eye when I was researching for styles as, similarly to one of my found imagery pieces, The size contrasts within the individual words/letters, allow the text to have form and volume, creating it to stand out. I like how the thickness of the text it also diverted, as Wild is thin and Rose is thick. It gives the text life and meaning to what the theme is about. I like the elegance of this test and could be used as a stand out title.
3) Beauty Fashion - Pinterest - Lettering Time

I liked this piece of typography for the simple reasons. I lie how the text looks as though it has been painted, giving it a personal touch, away from a graphics design look. I also like how the paint smudge gives an eroded and distressed look, due to it not being perfect or pristine. Although the colours are clean, I like how the text almost looks messy and gives the theme an edge.
4) Forget Regret - Paste Magazine - Henry Hargreaves

In this final piece of typography I have researched, similarly to number 3, I like this the font looks manually created and gives it a personal touch. I like the style and the thickness of this font in particular. I also like how a figure/muse has been incorporated into the text, giving it more life and meaning rather than just a title. This could be used well with a line up to describe the mood of each outfit. I like the elements of form and line within this piece of text.
