Dear Vector King, can you yell us anything about the Jhiaxus from Primax 215. 19 Epsilon? Preditron said he was a philosopher king, which is surprising considering most Jhiaxuses.
Dear Starship of State,
It may be less surprising if you consider that a philosopher king need not be merciful or kind.
Jhiaxus had originally been a scientist, a soldier, a diplomat, and explorer. He saw himself as having absolute knowledge of all subjects, thus making him the perfect choice to rule the Second Decepticon Star Empire. And certainly it thrived under his dominance, expanding to conquer and cyberform many worlds, linking them together by a space-bridge network, with his throneworld as the hub.
Here Jhiaxus ruled from an omniglobe, keeping track of all of his conquests, planning new expansions, and developing new technologies—such as the endless generations of Seeker clones he created, regardless of the technology's danger.
Few realized just how far his knowledge reached, for he claimed he had discovered a gateway to the World of Forms, and sought to unlock the gates in a grand alignment, allowing him to reach godhood.
The Wreckers launched one last desperate attempt to stop him from his path, led by Grimlock and the second Megatron, only for Jhiaxus to open the gate—and unleash the Swarm. This horror devoured Jhiaxus, and would have gone on to devour all of creation, were it not for the intervention of Opti- well, I suppose that's another story.
Despite his later obsession with the divine, many Decepticons viewed Jhiaxus' reign as a golden age, one that was destroyed when Galvatron returned. As such, it's not surprising that Preditron may have had a rather biased perspective of the tyrant.
