2017 wedding trends part 1

I’ve been reading loads and loads about 2017 wedding trends from various sources  – this part of my blog, has been put together after researching wedding trends 2017 and has been developed from a review of around 16 websites and articles and also extracts from the Wedding Trend Report 2017 produced by the International Academy of Wedding and Event Planning.

Over the next few blogs, I’m going to address each of the main wedding trends and how we are responding to those trends…

Trend 1 – Having the wedding, reception and party in one place i.e. not changing the venue - make it easy for your guests to move from one important part of the celebration to the next while containing the energies for a more intimate and fulfilling wedding experience. A sense of nostalgia for traditional British food is also a bit of a theme. Bringing your own personality to the food is good – couples are wanting a dining experience and sharing dishes is a great way of doing this. Street food is still popular and South American influences. Local offerings will continue to inspire menus in food and beverage creating memorable meals.
