Wedding Loop
Percy Jackson is missing again, ten years after Hera kidnapped him. He survived to adulthood, graduated from New Rome, and proposed to Annabeth. But on a scouting trip to Greece, he vanished without a trace. Months have passed, and his friends and family are frantic. Triton doesn’t care. He’s too busy looking for the brother he actually cares about: Perseus, the god of loyalty (and many other things), who disappeared years ago…
Chapter 1: Ocean
The boy stopped screaming and spun around in the water to gape. “Triton?”
He looked no less confused.
“So, you were born with knowledge of the world already,” Triton observed. It wasn’t unheard of. They were gods. Rhode had been born chattering about the sun, for some reason. “That is good. That will serve you well.”
“What?” He said the word slowly, with a heavy accent, but it was understandable.
Triton eyed him critically. “You weren’t born with a tail, though. Strange. You look more like one of Father’s demigod spawn than a god.”
“I am a demigod.” Again, his words were thickly accented and slow, like a sea slug crawling across the seafloor.
Triton glanced from the ichor in the water back to the child. “Not born with much knowledge, then,” he noted. “Or perhaps you simply have so much that you are confused.”
The god was staring at him still, mouth open, muscles in his jaw twitching. He looked like a fish before it dove for the safety of an anemone. “What?” he repeated.
