Resin Toppers
Resin toppers are similar to that of ceramic and clay. They can be on top of your cake and you can bring them home and display them afterwards or simply pack it away and stumble upon it when you’re cleaning out your closet, attic, basement then show it to your children. There are a lot of things you can do with your topper. But the real question is “What makes resin toppers different from clay or ceramic?” Well, that is a lot of things.
First things first, the process of making each one is different, but they are all beautiful in their own way. Clay doesn’t use paint like resin and ceramic toppers do, but both clay and ceramic are more prone to breakage during shipment. Clay and ceramic also differs when you want a “mini-me” version of you compared to resin. With ceramic, the artisan can only do so much to make the features and paint over it. With clay, it takes great artistry to create. However, it might not capture YOU the way you want it as it might come off as caricature work. With resin, there is caricature work involved as well. However, our process really takes each person’s features may it be moles, broken noses, nose shape, eye shape, everything! You will see a mould before we even begin creating your topper just in case you do not like something. Clay and ceramic artisans do the same, but they work with what they have on hand that will be their final product. However, with resin, we take special care that when we show you a final product of your order, you will only have 1-2 changes left in mind.
If you have any more questions about the difference about these products, don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected]. We will be happy to help you see the differences of what will make your event last forever.
