It's Wedding Tip Wednesday! Did you know that one of the most common wedding transportation couples make isn't even on their actual wedding day!? Well, it is! Assuming that transportation services are not necessary for their rehearsal dinner, or the bachelor & bachelorette parties, are some of the biggest mistakes couples make while planning their wedding. To see more about why these services are so important, go check out our "Most Common Wedding Transportation Mistakes" page. https://www.extremeclasslimo.com/wedding-transportation-mistakes There just might be other important things you are forgetting over there too! #ecl_toledo #extremeclasslimo #weddinglimo #weddingmistakes #weddingtipwednesday #weddingwednesdays #weddingwednesdays #preweddingideas #bacheloretteparty #bachelorparty #toledowedding #nwwedding #nwohiowedding #weddingplanning #weddingblog #weddingfail #fails #partytime🎉 #michiganwedding #limoservices #weddinglimousine #weddingtransportation #weddingguests #guestshuttle #inthe419 #youwilldobetterintoledo #downtowntoledo419 #toledome #downtown419 (at Toledo, Ohio) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bt2D8qNhgdl/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=18nihmw6ac4co
1. Getting Started
That was my first mistake! I am a doer. I hate thinking and pondering. I want to get shit done! My now fiancé and I had been together almost 8 years when he popped the question. And it was well worth the wait! We’d just brought our first home. He tricked me to going out the backyard before going inside and in the garage was a beautiful puppy with a red love heart balloon tied around her neck. As I lent down to pat her, he got on one knee. PERFECTION!
A sleepless night followed…. So many things to do, so many things to organise. As I frantically thought about everything I dreamed of, everything I wanted and what I thought I needed, I helped my fiancé hate the process. He has never been a wedding lover and I thought I was doing him a favour by making the decisions solo, so he didn’t have to worry about any of it.
It has taken me 406 days of engaged life to recognise I have been doing it all wrong! I wish I could have a revolution moment and cancel the whole thing. Get married in the park, followed by a bbq. Relaxed, comfortable, chilled, with our nearest and dearest. But with an overpriced white dress, bridesmaid dresses, venue deposits, invites sent etc. we are in too deep!
I hope someone will read this and learn from our mistakes. Listen to each other. Don’t rush decisions. Throw away everything you think you need and want and focus on what the day is meant to be about!!! I can tell that it definitely not about hey, let’s hire this piece of furniture, let’s get ridiculously priced flowers, let’s buy a super expensive dress, let’s ask our closest friends to spend heaps to look good on the day…. it’s about two people commuting to doing life together forever.
LOL throwback to my cousin’s wedding, what a bad fake tan job, just because it’s organic ingredients from the land doesn’t mean it rubs off easy Patricia!
