The news
Ok, so it's time to announce the big news I was really excited about. I have been asked to make a wedding cake for my Nan and her fantastic partner when they get married in the summer. I've never made a wedding cake before and I feel so blessed that they asked me. I'm do excited. Had my first meeting with them last Monday and I think it's going to be fabulous. No doubt it will be a challenge but I'm determined that it will be a success.

Wedding Cake final.
Two-tiered Lemon/raspberry/buttercream monstrosity covered in fondant. Decorated with gum-paste star-lilies and edible pearls in pearl dust.
Also, a bee because I was bored waiting for some last minute leaves to dry.
100% edible save for the wires, cake board, dowels, and the pin sticking out of the bee's bottom. But honestly, if you saw a bee on your weeding cake, would you try to eat it? Without looking at it?
